AN OKTOBERFEST themed ‘pup’ crawl is coming to Cardiff next month.
Launched by online community, Dog Furiendly, the Dogtoberfest Pup Crawl will be between 12.30pm and 5pm on October 13, allowing dog lovers to celebrate with their four-legged friends.
The pub crawl starts at the Pen and Wig, in Cardiff, before heading to Crafty Devil Beelzebub, Tiny Rebel, The Cambrian Tap, with participants getting 10 percent discount in each venue.
The pup crawl will end at Kongs, where guests will receive 20 percent discount, and can play a game of puppy pong.
Owners and canines are encouraged to wear their finest Bavarian attire, with The Cambrian Tap offering a free hamper for best dressed dog.
Founder of Dog Furiendly, Adele Pember, said: “We’re so excited to be bringing Oktoberfest celebrations to our four-legged friends.
“We’re putting together a tail-wagging twist on traditional games and collaborating with a selection of our favourite dog friendly bars across Cardiff.”
As part of the event, dog owners will be treated to goody bags from Burns Pet Nutrition, with offers from Pooch Bandana, Soapy Sausages and K8's Short Bark and Sides.
Tickets, which includes doggy beer and pretzels for man’s best friend and a souvenir mini stein, are £18. If you’ve more than one dog, fear not, extra dogs can join the fun for £3.
