THERE is a lot happening in Gwent, and it would be impossible to cover every event. Here is a selection of what's on offer this weekend.

• Today, between 11am and 1.30pm, there will be a coffee morning at Maesglas Community Centre. This is part of MacMillan's Biggest Coffee Morning.

• On Saturday, St Mary's Baptist Church, in Baneswell, is hosting a concert to celebrate its 150th anniversary. The evening, which starts at 7pm, will feature singing by Gwent Police Choir and In Spiritu Chamber Choir. Tickets will be available on the door, at £7 for adults, £3 for children, or free for people under the age of 11. Proceeds go to St David's Hospice.

• There will be a free heritage day at St Tudor's Church, in Cwmfelinfach, between 10am and 4pm on Saturday. It is free entry, with no need to book in advance. The day will include heritage craft, music, tours, story-telling, stalls and more.

• Starting tonight is Dollfest, a three day event at The Dolls House in Abertillery, featuring live music in support of Velindre Cancer Centre. Entry is free, although donations are encouraged. Tonight will feature: The Dukes Of Bordello, Brassick, Terminal Rage, The Deathtraps, Tenplusone, and Ill Fate. On Saturday there will be performances by: Fahran. Valour, Everyday Heroes, Kikamora, Red Spektor, Tomorrow Is Lost, Ravenbreed, and KinStrife. On Sunday performers will include: One Mark And A Frank, The Poly-Esters, Trigger McPoopshute, and System Restart. Facebook: @thedollshouse

• A free legal clinic is popping up at Bettws Social Club on Sunday, between 9am and 12.30pm. This was organised by Bettws councillors and will feature Andrew Collingbourne, partner at Collingbourne Hennah Law.

• The Chepstow Wedding Show is taking place, at Chepstow Racecourse, on Sunday between 11am and 3.30pm. Free entry, and free parking. More than 40 wedding suppliers will attend, from cakes to dresses, to florists to caterers. There will also be live entertainment and a Prosecco bar and cafe. • Hoggin' the Bridge will take place on Sunday, with live music on Saturday. The event will see thousands of bikers journey from Aust to Crick, crossing the Severn Bridge in the process. This is in aid of multiple charities, including Meningitis UK.

• McDonald's, on Cardiff Road in Newport, is hosting a family fun day between midday and 5pm on Sunday. There will be entertainment and games throughout the day, bound to help your little one fight the post-holiday blues.
