Traffic queing up on the Westbound carriageway (Traffic Wales)

A 'SEVERE' accident is holding up traffic around the Brynglas Tunnels on the M4 Westbound.
According to traffic monitors, three cars were involved, and the accident has blocked one lane on the M4.
Traffic is queuing between J25 B4596 Caerleon Road (Caerleon) to J25A A4042 (Newport/Grove Park Roundabout).
Traffic Wales has the incident listed as "severe".
Gwent Police have been contacted for further information.
