THESE fascinating drawings depict life in Newport in the 19th century. The collection captures some familiar sites such as Gold Tops, Clyther Square and the river front. Look closely and you can see ladies in Victorian dress and men in top hats with canes. There are horse drawn carriages on Cardiff Road and tall ships on the River Usk.
