ORIGINAL Gustav Klimt and Salvador Dali paintings were amongst some of the luxury goods at a one-off auction in Newport on Saturday.
More than 400 items including diamond rings, a Louis Vuitton handbag, laptops, entertainment and sport signed memorabilia and expensive tipples were on offer for a fraction of the original price.
Charles Phillips & Sons held the event at the Holiday Inn in The Coldra.
Around 30 people turned up to the event which saw them nab expensive pieces at a bargain price - including a MacBook Pro which sold for £400, less than half its original price, and an LS Lowry painting that sold for £1,000 less than its estimated price.
The Scotland-based auctioneer's luxury goods warehouse, outside Edinburgh, was destroyed by a fire in July this year.
But the firm reached an agreement with the directors and Axa Insurance to clear all the goods that survived in adjacent buildings.
