NINE workers at a Gwent factory were taken to hospital after being exposed to a chemical spill.
Blaenavon-based Doncasters group confirmed the workers were taken to hospital on Tuesday for "precautionary checks"after a spillage of hydroflouric acid.
A spokeswoman for the company said it had contained the situation after working closely with the South Wales Fire Service, Torfaen council and the Environment Agency.
