A TEENAGE GIRL was raped in a flat in Tredegar by a man thirty years her senior it has been alleged at Cardiff crown court.
The alleged offence happened over twenty years ago when she was 15 or 16 said prosecutor, Janet McDonald.
The alleged victim said that Allen Jolly, 68, "treated her like a piece of raw meat".
Jolly of Lower Salisbury Road, Tredegar, denies the charge of rape.
It is alleged that he took the girl to a pub where she drank and became ill. After which she was taken to a flat and shown into a bedroom.
It is alleged Jolly got into bed with her and raped her.
When arrested, Jolly claimed she was an active participant, suggested going to bed and instigated the sex.
Miss McDonald said he told her "This is our secret."
It is claimed that four years ago he contacted the woman by letter "written in very suggestive terms".
This made her feel sick and angry and she contacted the police.
Miss McDonald said that some of the things he claimed were "most incredible" and he even said that after meeting her in the pub she pulled him into an empty house and began kissing him.
"He told blatant lies" alleged Miss McDonald.
Proceeding.
