AN EVENING of boxing is taking place to raise funds for an important cause.
An amateur boxing evening is being hosted at Abergavenny Market, between 8pm and 11pm, this Saturday.
The event is a part of Y Fenni Fight Festival, in association with Pontypool Boxing Day and will feature local fighters, in eight matches.
Money raised from the event will go to Jacob's Fight, a charity raising funds for a little boy who was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, just before Christmas last year.
Tickets are £10 and available from Cable News, Verve Martial Arts Centre, Abergavenny, and by messaging the Facebook page: @YFenniFightFestival
