A HOUSE in Florida and a Mercedes-Benz are just some of many expensive items to go under the hammer this evening.
Wilsons Auctions is preparing for an unreserved government auction, after a number of items were seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
The company's head of asset recovery, Aidan Larkin, said: “We are delighted to bring the unreserved government auction back to Newport.
"Another great opportunity to purchase quality goods for an affordable price.
"There really is something for everyone from Rolex watches, designer clothes and shoes to a four-bedroom house in Florida for those wanting to invest in time for next summer.
"Wilsons Auctions is proud to facilitate government auctions each month."
The auction will also mark the first anniversary of Wilsons Auctions' Newport branch.
It will be taking place at Wilsons Auction, in Usk Way, from 7.30pm.
