A CITY centre post office is now open for business.
The Newport Post Office, formerly based on Sovereign Arcade in Kingsway shopping centre, now occupies a unit on Upper Dock Street.
This new branch is approximately four minutes away from the Kingway one, which is now closed, and is run alongside convenience store, Londis.
Newport Post Office, which is now based at 174-176 Upper Dock Street, has meant the post office can operate extra hours.
It will be open between 6am and 9pm Mondays to Friday, and 10am until 4pm on Sundays.
