DOG of the Week Sybil. She is 3 years old, and this poor little girl has had a tough year. Newport City Dogs Home have no way of knowing how many homes she had before she first came into the stray dog system, but we do know that she has had two homes since then, and neither of them have worked out for her.

Sybil would prefer an older household where she wouldn't be worried by young children, and although she has met and is quite happy around calm dogs Sybil is a little bit wary of some dogs she doesn't know.

Sybil just wants to get her paws on a sofa in a forever home that actually means forever. She needs to feel safe and loved.

There are quite a few small breed dogs available for rehoming at the centre, from very young puppies to mature adult, so if you decide to visit do come with an open mind. If you are ready to adopt, the dog who needs you most will find you.
