GWENT Police are investigating reports of rogue traders operating in east Newport.
Individuals, posing predominantly as window cleaners, have allegedly been targeting elderly residents, demanding money for work they haven't done and becoming aggressive if questioned.
Incidents have taken place in the Beechwood and Victoria wards, including Harrow Road, Windsor Road, Corelli Street and Corporation Road over recent weeks.
Officers believe a number of individuals may be carrying out this activity and may be acting as a group.
Please do not answer the door to anyone that you do not recognise.
