WRESTLING mania will take over a city venue next weekend, for family friendly fun.
Welsh heavyweight, Iestyn Rees will be part of the exciting line-up when the larger than life stars of WOS Wrestling take over Newport Centre on Saturday, January 19.
The champion pro wrestler was one of the biggest names on the revival of British wrestling on ITV.
‘The Alpha Male’ captured the WOS Tag Team Championship alongside his partner ‘Superbad’ Kip Sabian, with the duo taking part in the WOS Wrestling tour which includes just one venue in Wales.
Rees will be looking to bounce back from losing the tag titles in the final part of the WOS TV series last September and is determined to excel in front of passionate Newport wrestling fans.
WOS Wrestling marked British Wrestling’s return to ITV for the first time in 30 years and the programme’s biggest names will all be live in hard-hitting action at Newport Centre.

The line-up includes a match between ‘Superhuman’ Justin Sysum and Rampage. Bitter rivals will square off as Adam ‘Flex’ Maxted – a star of ITV hit reality show Love Island – battles his former tag team partner Nathan Cruz.
Grado - one of Britain’s most popular grapplers and TV sitcom star of Two Doors Down and Scot Squad – will also appear on the show, along with others.
