Traffic has returned to normal on M4 around Newport after lorry tyre change

Traffic on the M4 between junctions 26 and 27 is now flowing normally.

The cars involved in the crash on the skip road have now been moved to the hard shoulder.

But one lane of the M4 westbound is closed towards junction 27 while the lorry has a tyre changed, and traffic remains slow past the scene, with queues back through the Brynglas tunnel.

TRAFFIC is queuing back down the entry slip road at junction 26, and traffic is slow on the Malpas Straights westbound towards junction 27, due to a lorry having a tyre changed. 

AN accident involving two cars is partially blocking the westbound entry slip road to the M4 at junction 26 (Malpas).

Traffic is slow as a result, and there is a queue northbound on Malpas Road, Newport, back to the Harlequin roundabout.
