A TEENAGER remains in hospital after a police helicopter and dogs team were scrambled to reports of "disorder".
Police confirmed they were called to Ariel Reach in Newport at 11.15pm on Monday, January 14, after reports of disorder where a man had sustained "serious injuries."
A police helicopter from NPAS St Athan was also dispatched to support.
Thanks to police dogs on the ground, the police team in the helicopter were able to use thermal imaging to direct officers to a suspect, according to an NPAS St Athan spokesman.

A 19-year old-man was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital where he currently remains with serious injuries.
Three men aged 20-years-old, 21-years-old and 23-years-old from the Newport area have been arrested and are still in police custody.

Detective Chief Inspector Nicholas Wilkie, of Gwent Policeβs East Local Policing Area said, βAn investigation is under way and we currently have officers in the area carrying out further enquiries and providing reassurance to the local community.
