A 70-YEAR-OLD man is in hospital following a vehicle collision.
A section of Corporation Road, Newport, was sealed off by police on Tuesday following the incident.

A spokeswoman from Gwent Police said: "At approximately 2.35pm on Tuesday January 15 2019, Gwent Police were called to a road traffic collision on Corporation Road, Newport.
"Officers attended the scene and dealt with a one-vehicle collision with a male pedestrian.
"The 70-year-old man was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital to be treated for injuries that are serious but not believed to be life threatening.
"The driver of the vehicle has been located and identified. Enquiries are ongoing."

She added if anyone had any information to call Gwent Police on 101, or direct message on Facebook and Twitter, quoting incident number 271 of 15/01/2019.
