FOUR men have been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary following a series of break-ins and car thefts in and around the Rogerstone area of Newport.
A 37-year-old man from the Merthyr Tydfil area, a 28-year-old man from the Abertillery area, and a 36-year-old man from the Risca area all appeared at Newport Magistrates' Court on Friday morning.
A fourth man, a 25-year-old from the Telford area of Shropshire, appeared before magistartes on Saturday.
They were all remanded in custody and will next appear at Newport Crown Court on Friday February 22.
