IT WOULD appear that tickets for Newport County AFC’s FA Cup Fourth Round replay against Middlesbrough are in high demand.

Online ticket sales have been temporarily suspended as increased traffic looks to have crashed the website.

The club took to Twitter to state: “Due to high demand, online ticket sales for our #EmiratesFACup Fourth Round Replay against Middlesbrough are temporarily unavailable.

“We are working to resolve this and will update supporters as soon as this situation changes.”

Tickets are still available to purchase from the box office at Rodney Parade.

The sides are due to meet again on Tuesday after having drawn 1-1 at the Riverside Stadium.

The prize for the victor in Tuesday night’s fourth round replay is the mouth-watering prospect of hosting the global superstars of Premier League champions Manchester City in the fifth round.
