A ROTARY club are launching a project to help alleviate isolation and loneliness.

St Woolos Rotary Club have started the CUPPA project, in conjunction with Newport Live.

They have invited people to join together for a hot drink and a chat on a regular basis at Riverfront Theatre’s café every Tuesday between 10am and 1pm.

The first session will be on February 12, with all welcome. The venue is a short distance from Newport bus station, so ideal for those using public transport.

The venue is a safe, secure environment, where it is hoped that people can meet some new friends on a regular basis.
