Official Newport County AFC sponsors Seren Fach Nursery have been enjoying the build-up to the FA Cup Fifth Round tie against Manchester City with ‘County Week’.

The children, along with the nursery staff, have been showing they are up for the cup by taking part in a variety of football-themed activities.

South Wales Argus:

The staff held a football match which the children enjoyed watching so much that they couldn’t help but join in.

The children also took part in penalty shoot-out competitions, making cakes and papier mache footballs.

They finished off County Week of with a ‘black and amber’ party.

Peter Board, who is director of Seren Fach Nursery, has been a lifelong supporter of Newport County for many years.

As well as being official sponsors of the team, Seren Fach Nursery are also the official sponsors of veteran County midfielder Andrew Crofts.

However, Crofts is set to miss out on the clash with Manchester City.

Manager Michael Flynn revealed after Tuesday’s 1-0 home defeat to MK Dons that the 34-year-old has been ruled out for around a month with a calf injury.
