ARRTDUO have a First World War inspired exhibition on display at a city centre venue.

‘The Outline of Peace’ exhibition is at Riverfront Theatre, reflecting on the return of soldiers from the First World War and how this war changed the world we live in today.

This Heritage Lottery Funded project allowed the creative pair, Alison Richards and Rob Taylor, to host a glass plaque making workshop, with the piece now on display, in the form of a Victoria Cross at the theatre.

Arrtduo will host another glass fusing workshop at Riverfront Theatre on February 27, from 11am to 3pm. This is free and suitable for those aged eight and over, but spaces are limited.

To book a place on the workshop, email arrtduo@gmail.com

Arrtduo also have a gallery of their further work on display at Riverfront Theatre’s Art Gallery until Wednesday, March 6. Entry is free.

Arrtduo also launched an exhibition at one of Newport Writers Group’s open mic nights, at Hortons Coffee House. The next open mic night will be at Hortons Coffee House on February 26.
