AN ARMED forces charity is appealing for more volunteers from Blaenau Gwent to help it provide support for former veterans.
The SSAFA Gwent branch is looking to recruit new caseworkers to help continue its work in supporting veterans and their families.

Tracey Berridge, who works for the charity, said: “After all that the armed forces and their families have sacrificed for us, we feel it is our duty to make sure they receive the support they need when they face difficulties. We are in urgent need of more dedicated volunteers."
