USERS of Tredegar Park in Newport got a close-up look at the Wales Air Ambulance when it landed there for an inter-hospital patient transfer involving the Royal Gwent Hospital.
The operation, on Thursday, was one of many that is carried out by the charity-funded service as part of its duties in Wales.
The Park is used as a landing and transfer point if air ambulance patients need to be taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital, or if they need to be transferred from there to a specialist centre.
