Delays continue to plague the M4 due to traffic and fog

Traffic Monitors have shown queuing traffic at J28 of the M4 since 11am. It continues this evening.

Delays are said to stretch from J30 Cardiff Gate through the Brynglas Tunnels to J24 Coldra.

The AA have said that the travel time from J30 (Cardiff Gate) to J29 A48(M) is about 45 minutes. 

There is not thought to be any incident holding up traffic.

The situation wasn't helped earlier by heavy fog along sections of the M4 and M48, including on both bridges.
