A MAN was seriously injured after being "shot at" while walking in the street.
The 25-year-old is in hospital after the incident left him with a serious injury to his eye.
Police say he was walking along Phillips Walk in Rhymney at around 10.20am yesterday when he reported being shot at.
Officers have recovered a ball bearing gun and are not looking for anyone else at this time.
A 26-year-old man, and a 27-year-old man from the Rhymney area have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
Another 25-year-old from Rhymney has also been arrested on suspicion of possessing a fire arm and causing grievous bodily harm.
They are all currently in custody being questioned.
