French bulldog PIERRE is one of three dogs brought into Newport City Dogs Home last Thursday.
A young beagle and a beautiful cocker spaniel were brought in, but happily for them their owners dashed down to Newport City Dogs Home as soon as they realised their dogs had gone for walkies on their own, and they are both safely back home where they belong.
But it looks like Pierre is going to be spending some time in kennels, as there are no owner details registered on his microchip, and no one has reported him missing.
If Pierre's owners don't come forward within seven days the staff will be looking for a forever home for him.
Pierre is a sensitive little guy and very sweet natured although he's still a little bewildered at his sudden change of circumstances.
