The first drawings of the new houses planned for Filton Airfield have been released.
Designed by leading architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, the proposed homes pictured will form part of the first stage of development of the old airfield site.
There will be 278 new properties on the site, with construction set to begin before the end of the year. With the first houses to go on sale by 2020.
Sebastian Loyn, Director of Planning & Development, YTL Developments said: “Filton Airfield is a historic local landmark.
"We are working with world-renowned architects to ensure its future lives up to the legacy of its pioneering past.
"The first phase of new homes is designed to form the heart of a thriving new neighbourhood for North Bristol.”
