The news comes as just last year the brothers re-opened their other restaurant on Bridge Street under a new name - Gem 42.

Pasquale Cinotti confirmed that the restaurant is for sale, saying: "We feel the time is now right for us to move on.

"We have enjoyed our time at Spytty but we want to move into fine dining. We do not feel that our restaurant in Spytty could accommodate this."
