POLICE are searching for two men who attacked another man on the night of the Wales vs England Rugby match.
The assault happened on High Street in Blackwood, close to the Texaco garage, at around 11.10pm on Saturday February 23.
Officers say the victim, who was walking with his female friend, was approached by two unknown men.
They punched and kicked the victim to his head, causing a cut near his eye which he needed hospital treatment for.
Gwent Police are investigating this alleged assault and are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen this incident take place.
They would like to speak to the two men shown in the above image as they may be able to help with the investigation.
A force spokesman added: "If anyone has any information that could help, please call 101 quoting log 720 23/2/19 or alternatively, you can send a direct message with information to our Gwent Police Social media Facebook or Twitter pages."
