UPDATE 4.39pm: The crash has now been cleared, but the knock-on effect of the incident is slow traffic westbound between the former toll booths area on the M4 and junction 26 (Malpas).
UPDATE 4.25pm: The crash vehicles have now been moved to the hard shoulder, with all lanes having reopened at around 4.10pm.
But congestion remains on the M4 westbound from junction 24 (Coldra) back towards the Prince of Wales Bridge, and the travel time through this section is around 15 minutes.
A CRASH involving a lorry has blocked a lane of the M4 westbound from junction 23a (Magor) to 24 (Coldra), and is causing a build-up of traffic.
The outside lane is blocked, and congestion currently stretches back several miles to the Prince of Wales Bridge.
