POLICE are appealing for information after a man was assaulted after being thrown out of a popular nightclub.
The alleged assault happened in the doorway of Blisters nightclub in Bargoed, after a man was removed by bouncers between 12.45am and 1am on Saturday, March 30.
The victim had to go to hospital the next morning, and was treated for injuries to his back and arms.
Gwent Police said they were particularly interested in speaking to two women that were seen entering Blisters at around 12.50am and had to move out of the way of an altercation.
A force spokesman added: "If anyone has any information that could help, please call 101 quoting log 44 of 30/03/19 or alternatively, you can send a direct message with information to our Gwent Police Facebook or Twitter pages. You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
