A DIGGER and a number of chainsaws were among items stolen from a barn in a field near Argoed, say Gwent Police.
The thefts happened overnight Thursday/Friday April 11/12, at the site.
A yellow New Holland 3.5 tonne mini-digger and trailer, chainsaws and red diesel were stolen.
The field where the barn is situated is west of Rhoswen Farm, though it has no connection to that site.
Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area after 8pm on Thursday April 11, or who may have CCTV showing the digger being towed away, is asked to telephone Gwent Police on 101, quoting log number 41 of 12/4/19, or to e-mail ruralcrimeteam@gwent.pnn.police.uk
