POLICE are appealing to the public for help to track down a convicted thief who had been recalled to prison for breaching his licence conditions.
Daniel Hawkes, aged 28, from Pontypool, was released from jail on January 24.
He was serving a prison sentence of nine months and 20 days for theft
A Gwent Police spokesperson said: “Due to the fact that Daniel has breached his licence conditions, he has been recalled to prison. He has links to Risca, Cwmbran, Newport and Pontypool.
“If you see him or know where he is, please call us on 101 or direct message us on Facebook or Twitter, quoting reference 1900130390. You can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or visit their website Crimestoppers-uk.org.”
