WANT something unique to fill your photo album with memories of your tiny tot?

For a limited time only, guests at Greenmeadow Community Farm in Cwmbran can have a professional photographer take some sentimental snaps of their children with the adorable baby lambs.

South Wales Argus:

Photographer Sarah Debnam will be on hand at the venue from today (April 17) to April 19 running sessions for your little ones with the woolly new additions to the farm.

Ms Debenham is looking forward to the photo sessions and said: “Everyone is so lovely at the farm and I’m so excited.

“It’s going to be busy. Luckily I’ve managed to get an assistant to come along and help; she’s good with kids and animals.

“If I can make people smile with my photography then I’m a success in my opinion.”

South Wales Argus:

This exclusive offer is £50, which includes an online gallery of the photos, two digital downloads and two 6” by 4” prints, with more images and prints available to purchase if you wish.

Booking is essential, and – as the Friday sessions are already full up – it’s recommended to book sooner rather than later, but the following terms and conditions must be noted.

South Wales Argus:

The £50 booking fee does not include entry to the farm. You can visit just for photos, or you can pay entry free to enjoy all Greenmeadow Community Farm has to offer.

Day tickets to Greenmeadow Community Farm are £6.50 for adults and £5.40 for children, students and those aged 65 and over. A family ticket, which admits two adults and up to three children is £23.50 and children under two get free access.

South Wales Argus:

On arrival for the photo sessions, guests must sign a health and safety form for each child.

This highlights how the farm has taken precautions to minimise the potential for illness and outlines guidance to avoid the risk of illness.

The welfare and safety of both children and animals is a crucial part of these sessions. If there are health and safety concerns, the photoshoot may be stopped or cancelled.

Ms Debenham explained: “There have been some horrible things online about photographers not taking the safety of the animals seriously so I’m being very very careful.”

The session is not advised for anyone who suffers from immune system deficiency and those taking part must be supervised by a parent or carer at all times.

South Wales Argus:

There are up to three people allowed at each session, so if booking for more people than this book two slots together.

Sessions are 15 minutes long and held throughout the day.
