THERE are now just days to go before the 2019 ABP Newport Marathon.
Last year's inaugural run was dubbed a huge success with around 6,000 runners flooding to the city to take part.
The atmosphere was electric as thousands of spectators cheered on the participants who ran 26.2 miles from Newport to Magor and back.
And the cheers were not only for the marathon runners, but also for the 4,000 people taking on the 10k course.
While the city gears up for the marathon this weekend, the South Wales Argus is planning to publish every message of support for competing marathon and 10k runners.
The messages will be published on Saturday - the day before the big race
If you want to send us a message of support, you can email familynotices@gwent-wales.co.uk or phone 01633 777102.
Messages should be no more than 25 words long.
If you're taking part and want to tell us your story, email newsdesk@southwalesargus.co.uk
