A WOMAN has been assaulted by two young boys - who kicked her in the leg and stomach and shouted abuse while they filmed her on a mobile phone.
Police say the sickening incident happened on Monday, April 15, between 1.30pm and 1.45pm in Waunfawr Park, Crosskeys.
The 52-year-old victim was walking in the park when two boys, described as around 14-years-old, knocked her shoulder as they rode by.
When she called to them to be careful, she was kicked to the leg and stomach and was verbally abused while the one teenager filmed the incident on his phone.
"The two boys then rode off and the woman was left shaken but without any serious injuries," a Gwent Police spokesman said.
"The two teenagers are described as being around 14-years-old. The boy was of medium build, with short dark curly hair. He was wearing a charcoal grey cap with a white emblem on the front and a black puffa style jacket. He was riding a silver mountain bike which had black and silver writing on it.
"Officers are investigating and are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen the incident or if you have information about the two boys involved. If anyone has information, please call 101 quoting Log 143 16/4/19."
