A 41-YEAR-OLD local man has been arrested in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a woman in Abertillery.
The alleged incident happened in the early hours of Wednesday, April 10, at an address in the town's Princess Street.
The man, described by Gwent Police as being from the Abertillery area, was arrested today (Sunday, April 21) on suspicion of trespass with intent to commit a sexual offence, and sexual assault on a female.
The man is currently in police custody. Specialist officers are supporting the female victim.
