Bank holiday congestion hits Newport
PEOPLE looking to make the most of the warm bank holiday weather have been faced with traffic jams around Newport today.
The section of the M4 motorway which runs through the city has seen increased traffic as a result of the bank holiday and the good weather.
The stretch of road, which is no stranger to heavy traffic, has seen queues forming around the Brynglas Tunnels, the Coldra junction and the approach to J27 at High Cross.
