A POPULAR band will rock out for runners – and walkers – at a charity event with a unique twist.

The Sisterhood, who blasted last year’s inaugural Portstock Festival at Tredegar Park, will be performing at this year’s Kolor Dash which is a 5K run or walk whilst being pelted with brightly coloured powder paint, foam and water along the way.

Kolor Dash, which aids Newport-based St David’s Hospice Care, is being held on Sunday, May 19, at Tredegar Park, Newport.

The fun event is sponsored and supported again this year by Western Power Distribution.

Kris Broome, of St David’s Hospice Care, said: “We’re thrilled to have been able to secure The Sisterhood for Kolor Dash after they were such a massive hit at last year’s Portstock.

"Kolor Dash is an exciting mayhem of an event and will be even more so now that we have got The Sisterhood on board.”
