SCREEN legend Arnold Schwarzenegger is coming to Newport.

The former Governor of California will be hosting a black tie event at Newport's International Convention Centre on Wednesday, September 18.

The appearance coincides with the 35th anniversary of seminal film 'The Terminator' and the release of his blockbuster finale 'Terminator (Dark Fate)'.

The event has been organised by third party 'An Experience With' who will be structuring an interview live on stage with 'Arnie', where unheard stories about his life and ventures are expected to delight the crowd.

South Wales Argus:

The night is set to include Schwarzenegger life size film prop models, Terminator themes, an auction of signed bespoke Schwarzenegger memorabilia and a pre-event show from Stuart Arnold, who wowed the Britain's Got Talent judges and audience with his impressions of Schwarzenegger and the Terminator.

There are four levels of tickets, all of which come with a three-course meal. Ticket prices range from £99 to £325 plus booking fee.

Mr. Schwarzenegger's career began by becoming the youngest person to win Mr. Universe aged just 20. Since then, he has dominated Hollywood with appearances in 'The Terminator' franchise, 'Kindergarten Cop', 'Twins' and many more before getting involved in politics and becoming Governor of California.

Tickets are available at Eventbrite.
