Accident blocks one lane on M4 around Newport
AN ACCIDENT on the M4 has closed one lane of the westbound carriageway.
The incident happened between Junction 24 (Coldra) and Junction 25 (Caerleon).
Lane one of the westbound carriageway is blocked, causing queues of traffic to build up on the approach to the scene of the accident.
Update 9pm: the road has been re-opened and traffic has returned to normal.
