Undy & Magor 1sts (135-3) beat Pentyrch 2nds (134 all out) by seven wickets
MARK Crook took 3-14 with two maidens in his nine overs to wrap up an early finish at Mill Lane, writes Bob Cypher.
Crook struck three times to dismiss opener Kevyn Jones for four runs before adding Dafydd Dabson and Pentyrch skipper Andrew Sheard to his credit without troubling the scorer.
Paul Smith ended the early resistance of opener Steve Hood (46) and Steve Hepple stopped George Ashby (26) before he could build a bigger score.
Hepple ended with 3-35 and Smith chipped in with 2-35 and one maiden with Ollie Smith and Arjun Calidas taking a wicket apiece.
In reply, U&M lost skipper Harry James cheaply but Luke Farley (44), and Luke Boast (32 not out) steadied the ship with Calidas contributing 14 and Josh James adding 20 as the target was reached in the 41st over.
