A car was damaged after being shunted onto the pavement opposite Newport Cathedral last night.
The picture (above) shows a blue Citroën (top) having sustained damage to its rear bumper and driver’s side after been pushed between two bollards.
It appears the that the grey Audi A3 (bottom) has also sustained damage to its bonnet.
A spokesman from Gwent Police said: "At approximately 7.45am on Sunday, July 7, we received reports of a road traffic collision involving a grey Audi A3 Sport and blue Citroen Xsara Picasso outside the former Six Bells pub in Stow Hill, Newport.
"The collision is believed to have happened in the early hours of the morning, with the Audi left abandoned in the middle of the road. The Citroen had been parked prior to the incident.
"Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information can contact Gwent Police on 101, quoting reference 159 of 7/7/19."
