THE SUN has gone and has been replaced by rain which is set to last for most of the day.
It is expected that the rain will ease off for a brief period at lunchtime but return with a vengeance around 2pm.
This evening and into tonight are set to be cloudy but the rain will have subsided.

The Met Office say that Thursday should be a dry but mainly cloudy day, but the rain will return throughout Friday and will be set to stay for the weekend.
Temperatures will be constant, with highs of 18 degrees today and Friday and 20 degrees on Thursday.
