The road has since been reopened in both directions.

A collision on the A449 has resulted the road being closed and building congestion.
The incident, which at this time is believed to have included a camper van, occurred northbound near Newbridge on Usk.
Both lanes have been closed but police did briefly keep lane two (of two) open to let trapped traffic past the scene.
Emergency services are at the scene and have been contacted for further updates.
