THE EASTBOUND carriageway of the M48 Severn Bridge is closed today for resurfacing works.
The closure is in place between Junction 2 A466 Wye Valley Link Road (Chepstow) and Junction 1 A403 (Aust).

A detour is in operation via the M4 Prince of Wales Bridge.
The bridge will reopen on Monday morning.
