Person taken to hospital after collision in Newport
A PERSON has been taken to hospital following a crash in Newport today.
The collision involving two vehicles happened at 12.55pm on Cardiff Road at the junction with Monmouth Castle Drive.
Police and the ambulance service were in attendance, and one person has been taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital.
The police have said that the injuries sustained are not believed to be serious.
