A MAN from Abertillery was sentenced to a 12-month community order after pleading guilty to stealing three footballs.
Richard John Jones, 31, of Somerset Street, also admitted stealing an Apple iPad as well as the footballs from a car.
He was ordered to pay £120 compensation alongside serving his community order.
He will also be electronically-monitored during an eight-week curfew between 8pm and 7am.
