POTENTIAL cat fosterers are invited to an information evening this week to learn more about caring for the cats in the care of the RSPCA.
It will take place at the Hartridge Farm Road centre in Newport on Thursday, March 12 between 6.30pm-8pm.
It will be a chance for those who are interested in fostering a cat or kitten before they find their new home to find out what fostering involves and how the RSPCA cover all costs including food and vet bills.

Kath Logan, deputy manager for the centre, said: "Foster carers do hugely important voluntary work for the RSPCA, in what many say is a hugely rewarding experience which is vital for our animal welfare work.
"If you would like to become a foster carer for us, please do come along to our information event this Thursday. We're really hoping to add some new volunteers to our local group of fosterers."
Places are limited for the event so you will need to get in touch in advance by giving the centre a call on 0300 123 0744 or messaging their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/RSPCA-Newport-Animal-Centre-118147969856/
