A MOTORBIKE rider has been taken to Nevill Hall Hospital after a crash on the A4043 near Blaenavon.
Cwmavon Road has been closed in both directions after the crash from Capel Newydd Avenue to Shop Road.
The rider sustained injuries to his arm, chest and leg.

A Gwent Police spokeswoman said: "We received a report of a road traffic collision on the A4043 Cwmavon Road near Blaenavon at around 3.45pm on Wednesday, March 25.
"The incident has involved a motorbike, with male rider of the vehicle sustaining injuries to his arm, chest and leg.
"He has been conveyed to the Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny.
"The road is currently closed and officers from the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service and the Welsh Ambulance Service have also attended."
